What child doesn't like magnets? This is a great toy for fine motor skill development. The blank magnetic board allows free form work and the design cards allow a child to form a picture. Great for girls, maybe not for boys.

Fun and Educational - But Lots of Little Pieces

My son has had this since he was 1 1/2 years old. There are a lot of pieces, a lot, and a lot of tiny tiny pieces. The case is fine to carry the board, but you really need a little zip up bag to hold all the shapes. My son loves to stack all the shapes up and likes to watch us create pictures out of shapes. He is 3 1/2 now and just likes to make patterns.
